AT & T RCS is now default for Android with messages by Google
North American AT & T cellular operators revealed this week that they worked with Google to make messages by Google default messaging applications for all AT & T Android devices in the US. Hopefully this, make the transition to the adoption of the entire industry of rich communication services (RCS) in fact at some point in the future. This is not the first time RCS is available for AT & T users, but this is the first time AT & T agrees to make RCS for Android a reality with the Google application itself – by default.
RCS on Android devices with messages by Google will allow AT & T users to get a sophisticated experience when using open standards available for the masses. There are applications that can be used to achieve similar chat features, but not that about this. It’s about moving the baseline experience to a higher standard of superiority.
Yes, that’s true: RCS standards are now global: what that means for you
Users will be able to send messages to each other and know when someone repayes the text – when they type. Users will be able to send and receive messages with wifi and / or data. Users will be able to share photos of full resolution and “high-quality videos” through Messenger.
And what’s most important – especially for people who want to use Messenger to chat with family members and friends – the group chat is simple. People can add someone to a group chat and that person can choose to leave the group chat “without starting new utas,” Google said.
Messenger will immediately have end-to-end encryption, too. It will require both people to chat using messages, and that both people have convenient conversation features, and it only works for RCS conversations one on one. Note: Google previously worked with T-Mobile USA to make Global Messaging RCS reality too – was on the way!
If you have become an AT & T user, the current Messenger application, the chat application, whatever you use – it’s still functioning. This is not a change that will affect people who already have a device. You can download messages by Google App now, if you want. Large changes exist in the release of Android devices in the future with AT & T as operators. They will have messages by Google as the default messaging application in the United States – we hope this will happen with devices released later this year, and advance for the future.
