Airpods Pro 2 inclined for 2022 as the demand stumbles
Apple launched AirPods Pro back in 2019, and it didn’t take long before rumors of follow-up began to make a round. However, so far, we have not seen Apple reveal the second generation airpods of pro, and according to new reports today, we might have time to wait. According to one productive Apple analyst who thinks that we will not see Pro 2 airpods launched until around next year.
Analysts are none other than Ming-Chi Kuo, who predicted in the recent notes to investors (as reported by Macrumor) that we will not see AirPods Pro 2 until 2022. While the kuo did not describe the prediction, he did note that demand For original pro airpods will be “lower than estimates” for the rest of 2021, which leads it to revise its estimate for total sales of pro airpods from 75-85 million to 70-75 million.
Kuo thinks that launching follow-up the second gen for original pro airpods can help increase total sales for 100 million marks by 2022, which will be a big victory for Apple. The big question is what AirPods Pro 2 will be offered that the original pro airpods have not. The latest report claims that Apple may not only see the Pro Airpods redesigning, but also apply new health tracking features too.
It should be shown that this is not the first time Kuo estimates the release of 2022 for AirPods Pro 2. He made a similar prediction back in April 2020, saying at that time he did not expect airpods pro 2 to enter mass production until the end of 2021 or early 2022.
So, for now, it looks like Kuo is sure that in 2022 is a big year for AirPods Pro 2. Assuming Kuo is right, we might not expect to hear anything about them at Apple iPhone revealing the event in the fall. We will see what happens from here, but you who survived for a pair of the second Gen Air Pro 2 might still have a long wait.
