PSP players can get games via the PlayStation store for PS3 and PS Vita after all
Players from around the world were not happy when Sony announced that he would closing the PlayStation store on PS3 and PS Vita. The move would have essentially made the retro consoles without value worthless because no game would have been available to buy in the future. Sony is now receiving the closure of the shop, which was originally intended to close today, on July 2, 2021. The announcement that the stores would remain open on the two consoles were carried out in April.
Sony has now offered additional clarity for Playstation portable players, noting that some changes arrive on July 6, 2021, for PSP owners. At this date, Sony will delete the ability to search and make purchases at stake. Previously, the store closed in 2016 for the PSP, but players could always do research and shop at stake.
Although users can no longer perform research or shopping at game from next week, Sony indicates that players will always download all PSP content purchased previously. Downloads can be performed by accessing the download list on the device itself. Another little clarity is good news for those who always like to play games on their portable playstation.
Some PSP contents are available for purchase on PS3 and PS Vita stores. Sony says players will always be able to buy and play the content of the PSP available in these two stores, but you will still be able to make any purchases via the PSP store for PSP content. Essentially, the basic game is all you can get.
Retro players should be delighted to learn that you can advance the content, because it essentially means that many games will never die. Unfortunately, for those who like to add to their games via store purchases, this will no longer be possible.
