Twitch Watch party landed on Android and iOS

Twitch has announced that Watch parties, which allow people to unite, react, and discuss any film or TV shows available through Amazon Prime or Prime Videos directly on Twitch. This service has been available for all creators and viewers in the desktop browser. 

Those who don’t have a desktop browser that is not lucky until now. Announcements have been made that Watch parties now launch to Android and iOS devices. With the features available for cellular devices, it means wherever fans twitch, as long as their smartphones or tablets have wi-fi or data connectivity, they can participate in a watch party.

Although there are no special instructions available first to set the watch party feature on your mobile device, it might be similar to settings for desktop users. On the desktop, the setting involves going to the stream manager in the creator’s dashboard. The user then clicks “+” in the panel of a quick action and then adds fast action.

After a watch, a quick action is added, the user can click it to launch the feature. For those who have never participated in watching parties in the past, users must ratify their devices for the main video. The authorization must only be done first to have a party launched, and the user will be asked to enter with an Amazon Prime account or Prime Video.

The only time you have to enter again is if you come out of your Twitch account. Users can then choose the main video content they want to see using the Watch Party catalog that allows users to search, browse, and choose any movie or TV shows available with their subscription. It should be noted that the main video channels, IMDBTV, and content that are rented or purchased via Prime video are not supported. Webcam is needed to stream audio and video.
